You me us seat
Superform: Marjan Poboljšaj, Anton Žižek
YOU-ME-US-SEAT is a multipurpose object. The basic function of seating is surpassed with the possibility of combining the individual parts of the object into different combinations of a new entity. The objects have a tendency to be theatrically showcased in any setting with its material and form. The duality of the object is showed with the contrast between the outer shell and the inner layer. The outer shell is defined by the geometrical perfection symbolized by a circle. A circle represents absolute timelessness and a reminiscence of renaissance. This circle is surrounded with golden rays, which give the object its depth. The interior is designed ergonomically as soft skin, which suits the human being. The contrast is accentuated with color as well: while the outer shell is gold, the inner layer is soft green. The whole object is divided into quarters. Each quarter represents a module, which can be linked and combined with the others. Each module by itself presents a particular way of seating. The module rays serve as legs for the object, which encircle the whole rim. The materials are bizarre. The brass, with its golden shine and ray-like characteristics, gives a feeling of transcendence. The inner lining is soft and green as artificial grass and as such, leads us to the inner layer that envelopes and takes us on a 'breakfast on the grass'.
