1+1+1=1 seat + tabouret + table = The Superseat
Instead of many pieces of furniture for different purposes we can put one single object into a room, which independently masters the space and even becomes an object of examination. The superseat was designed as a small series object for different spaces. Firstly as a complete circle, that would rule in the receptions of business facilities. As such it would master the complete space by itself, become an identification symbol or even an artefact. With reshaping the object to a semicircle and adding backs to it, the object can be used in living rooms as well.
The superseat can be a recliner as well as a loading surface. It is a new object that cannot be determined as a suite, sofa or a bench. It is a fusion of different shapes and functions, and therefore needs a new categorization, a new term, a new name – The Superseat.
