BASIS
Imagine a transformation - the quiet attic space of a house in Vransko, dormant for years, suddenly bursting with life and purpose. The client's parents reside on the lower floor, their apartment connected to a shared staircase.
Natural light and the opportunity for views of the surroundings are crucial to the client. They desired a transformation into something unique - an airy, bright, and open apartment that would offer space for everyday living and creativity. An apartment with a spacious kitchen, children's room, bedroom, and a workspace.
DESIGN CONCEPT
For the young family renovating their home, the new attic apartment is not just a space but represents a new beginning and an expression of their way of living and state of mind. The idea of the new "House within a House" represents a "new house" within the existing structure. The design allows the boundaries between interior and exterior to blur, as wooden vertical elements of the facade echo the charm of a traditional gallery - a gank, while the living space effortlessly merges with the exterior "sun terrace," where roof-parapet windows resemble pergolas.
To us, the "House within a House" concept is more than just an architectural design - it embodies the Superform’s philosophy: expressing a unique living experience by combining innovation, functionality, and aesthetics at every step.
The renovation of the "House within a House" attic is the result of our passion and dedication that extends beyond architecture - it reflects our desire to create homes that inspire and enhance everyday life.
