BASIS
The villa is located near water on a flooded area of the stream Ljubnica and next to a grassed cliff, which casts a shadow in the afternoon, thus preventing direct sunlight.
CONCEPT
When we enter the villa, we enter a large luxurious yacht, which is anchored in a wild bay of Ljubnica.
1. The ideal atmosphere in the villa is created by installing a glasshouse and a pool.
2. The light seeps in through the glasshouse, which separates the house in to two parts.
3. Four different activities (sleeping, swimming, shading, socializing) wave through the whole villa and catches in the stream of Ljubnica
The living area is created on the principles of water, which is streaming through the rocks (service, kitchen, dinning room, sitting area) into the theme rooms. Sleeping quarters are of rough shapes, which are functionally connected. The two strips are separated by a spine, the swimming pool, which gives both light.
