DESIGN CODE:
Sensual level: CARPET
A carpet has a practical and decorative function. The roof of the proposed solution is like a wrinkled “carpet” creating the courtyard of the mosque and becomes a new city square.

Mental level: A PERSON PRAYING
Worshippers pray and supplicate with arms raised towards the sky. The domed mosque with two minarets symbolically represents a worshipper. The dome represents a head, whilst the minarets represent the arms.

DESIGN ELEMENTS:
The arches are a generic element of the mosque and form a system of walls with arches – AN ARCHED WALL. The largest arch features a room for praying. The two raised arches on the front corners become minarets.
