Arhitectural Design:
BASIS:
The investor wishes to renovate an existing house, which is located among a series of facilities that are listed under the monument protection on the Pokopališka Street. The template of the structure facing the street and its facade would therefore stay unchanged. On the west side, the plot faces the garden. How to ensure enough light? How to ensure privacy? How to protect against the noise from the street?

DESIGN:
The monumentally protected facade is deviated from the rest of the house, which creates two separate buildings. The first is situated next to the street and has an identical facade as the rest of the existing houses. Its function is a barrier against the noise, while inside there is a storage room and an outdoor kitchen.
The second building is located on the far west end of the plot, which creates an intimate space between the two, and serves as an outdoor terrace. Both buildings are facing it with its glass surfaces.
