BASIS
The investor wishes to build a bottling plant, a museum of Slovenian waters and a solar power plant.
The plot is located in the village of Kuršinci pri Mali nedelji in the heart of the Prlekija region, surrounded by fields and forests.
CONCEPT
The basic theme of the facility is water. Water is a basic building block of life. It is determined by unique chemical and physical characteristics such as: it is colourless, odourless, has three states of matter (ice, water, vapour), precipitation, fluidity. It also has the capacity of memory.
The concept is based on those three states of matter: the water is the museum (open-air and indoor), the ice is the bottling plant, the vapour is the solar power plant. The shape of the facility also originates from the characteristic of water, which is fluid (the floor plant of the facility) and wavy (the cross section)
